Terms of Service — AURUM

1. Who we are

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

3. What AURUM is

AURUM is a mobile application that acts as a daily nutrition and training coach, powered by a deterministic engine combined with AI models. It generates personalized plans, tracks your progress, and adapts to your readiness and adherence signals.

4. Medical disclaimer (important)

AURUM IS NOT a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

• All training and nutrition information delivered by AURUM is informational and educational.
• AURUM does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any training program or making significant dietary changes, especially if:

- You have a pre-existing medical condition (cardiovascular, metabolic, musculoskeletal, etc.). - You are pregnant or breastfeeding. - You take medication regularly. - You are under 18.

• If you experience pain, dizziness, palpitations, or any unusual symptom while using the app, stop the activity immediately and consult a healthcare professional.
• AURUM accepts no responsibility for injuries, health issues, or damages arising from the use of the service. You use the information at your own risk.

5. Eligibility

• You must be at least 16 years old.
• You must provide accurate information when setting up your profile (age, weight, injuries, etc.). The quality of recommendations depends on it.
• You must keep your password confidential.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use AURUM for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Overload the infrastructure with bots, scraping, or unauthorized automated calls.
• Impersonate any person or entity.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of the account without notice.

7. Subscriptions and payments

If we enable paid plans in the future, this section will apply:

• Subscription plans are managed through the Apple App Store and automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next renewal.
• You can cancel any time from iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Amounts paid are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or by Apple's policies.
• We may modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.

8. Intellectual property

All AURUM content (code, designs, texts, exercise and food databases, brand, logo) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these Terms.

Data you generate (logged workouts, photos, notes) is yours. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to deliver the service.

9. Availability and changes

• AURUM is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or absence of errors.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or parts of it) with reasonable advance notice when within our control.
• Scheduled maintenance may temporarily affect the service.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AURUM is not liable for:

• Indirect, consequential damages, or loss of profits.
• Loss of data resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.
• Decisions made by the user based on recommendations generated by the app (see Medical Disclaimer).

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Account termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. After the request, your data will be deleted within the timeframe described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts at the consumer's place of residence, in accordance with consumer protection regulations.

13. Changes to these Terms

Updates will be published at this same URL. For material changes, we will notify you in-app at least 15 days before they take effect.
